Renovation planning

Before the walls close.
Get the plan right.

Kitchen, bathroom, or whole-room updates work better when electrical decisions are made early.

Bring the room plan.

Share appliance positions, cabinetry drawings, and how you want to use the space. That gives the electrical plan a practical starting point, from task lighting to outlets that will remain accessible after installation.

02

Coordinate the work.

Electrical changes often need to happen at specific stages of a renovation. Discuss access, sequencing, responsibilities, and which decisions must be final before the next trade begins.

  • Appliance specifications and intended loads
  • Task, ambient, and feature lighting
  • Switch locations and useful outlet positions
  • The renovation sequence and access requirements
03

Agree on the finished picture.

Confirm the visible fittings as well as the work behind the surfaces. A written scope should make clear what will be installed, how changes are handled, and what testing and handover information will be provided.

Keep exploring.
